got some good ones there the last one is sweet

I moved the thread for you…… I like the pentagonal shaped. Looks kinda like a jacks reef from here. I think that is what we call them. Nice items you have found.

Hard to say for me on the last one. Its been resharpened quite a bit. All are great finds though.

The last one is a Pelican point 8000 to 10,000 yrs old made of Novaculite a La. point. JMO

If found with the other tools I'd lean more towards Jacks Reef....be nice to hear more about it.

Jack Reef points don't have the concave bottom most of the time and from where it was found in NW La. and the stone it is made of is why I say Pelican.JMO

If it was found in LA.....agree....the base is troublesome for either type in my opinion. The OP chose to represent that tool specifically but covers the junk portion of the base with thumb. Pelican way more sexy than Jacks Reef...lol

Could be as young as 6k....no disrespect....

None taken my friend, no one including myself knows them all, there are just to many varations:BangHead:in all points due to the fact that everyone knapped different.
