Well, I've been pretty busy with work since Thanksgiving, and my stupid laptop broke.... So, here are my recent finds, just getting back online:

All are from hitting the teller trays and some nickel and dime rolls (about $1000 total).

2 1964 Halves
6 40%ers
3 Silver Roosevelts
3 War Nickels
2 nice 1938 Jeffersons
1 Dateless Buffalo
17 Ikes including a few that are nice BU coins

Also scored a 1938 D Walker in Fine Condition, a 1923 S Walker in Very Fine Condition, and a 1915 Barber Half (no mintmark) in Good Condition from a dealer's box of coins at melt! Awesome!!! I tell you that is pretty great to find a dealer who will let me spend my Saturday afternoons pawing thru his bins of coins and sell them to me at melt. He's a great dealer. Wish they were all this cool.

Not as great as my November, but I haven't had as much time to work it. Hoping to hit it pretty hard over holidays.

HH to all!

I'm hoping we all find some holiday silver turned in over the next few weeks.

Wow - you got those key date coins @ melt? That is awesome! That's as good (or better) that finding junk silver @ face. I'd sure like to find a dealer willing to do that. :)

Congrats on the finds - esp. the dealer score.

Yep, it's always awesome to find a great coin dealer. They are harder to find than you might think. I also have picked out several nice semi-key mercs from his stash as well -- 1931Ds, 1931Ss, two 45 micro S, a few dates from the twenties with mintmarks. All are in nice shape -- up to VF/XF. All for 23 times face. SWEET!!! I spend at least three hours in his shop every Saturday. He has about 25,000 buffalo nickels I started going thru as well. Getting some very nice ones out of there as well for 50 cents each. Nice F-XF coins from 20s and 30s with mintmarks..... Still looking for a 37 D three leg. Told him I'd split the profits with him on that one!

It's just as much fun as CRH to be honest. He doesn't mind at all, and I help him organize his massive amounts of coins while I'm doing it. IE: pulling out the dateless buffs into a different bin, pulling Franklins mixed in with the Walkers that sort of thing. He just has way too many coins to ever get thru. It's a win-win deal, especially for me!

I looked at about 1500 40% silver halves he had this weekend too. Found three very nice Doubled Die Reverse 1965s in MS63+. Paid $5 each for them.

Numi,
You ceratinly have a great friend there. Keep at it. The 1938-D Walker is
a real winner for you.
All the best
