Thanks for everyone's posts, it keeps me motivated! I have too busy to post lately, but have been getting out when I get a chance. The first pic of of my silvers so far this year and the pile in the middle is 34 wheats. The rest of the stuff in the first pic is from a hunt with my brother yesterday. The two silver earrings came from the same place as the Candian Large Cent :headbang:. This was a first for me and I was really excited to dig it. The year is 1911, the "godless coin" the first year of King George and the only year without a god reference. The Canadian people complained and it was fixed in 1912, pretty cool. Aluminum saloon token is in bad shape, got a Coast Guard Reserve pin and some kind of medallion with a jester for a street fair and carnival. I also recently got silver number 11 for the year, a BLAZING 1941 Merc, probably the nicest dug coin that I've found  The next full paper towel picture is from an old house that I got permission for today. It was built in 1900 and it was productive. I got 3 wheats, a 1929 Buffalo, and a 1903 V Nickel. Those are my first 2 old nickels for the year and they look like they will clean up nice (don't clean expensive coins, these aren't). Got a couple of cool yard finds there a little Bison lock, couple keys, cheesy bracelet, and old painted white oval porcelain broach, and part of an old baby spoon. I'm sure there has to be silver at this house, can't wait to get back there. Thanks to Goes4ever and others that helped me with advice on asking private permission. Hope everyone is out hunting, thanks for looking and sharing!
HH!

Excellent! :headbang:

I've noticed quite a few Canadian silver dimes. Is that common way up north where you are at? My average is about 1 Canadian silver dime every three years or so, don't find much of those in northern Calif.

Yeah I think being close to Canada we find a few more, although this seems to be more than in previous years.
