Recent field and creek finds

Here are a few that I have found over the past few weeks...



I think the dark colored one is a micro drill. What do you think?



These were found in the creek. The middle one is interesting with the one side broken and resharpened. The smallest point was actually found digging in the creek with a screen! First time I tried it and I found one. I was pumped!

It's hard to tell in the photo but on most drills the edge will be worn down from use. The point in the middle could have been a knife. They are all good finds and screening is a blast, sometimes you will have to work a long time and not find anything, but when you do, it will pump you up to move more dirt. I have screens that are 1ft x 1ft up to 3ft x 3ft and all different screen size because you might let something small fall through. HH

Luckily I found that point within the first 45 minutes of my first time digging and that was all the motivation that I needed!

Those are all great finds and that little one is really neat! I'm getting ready to go out and poke around, think I will bring my smaller screen with me this go round.
