What a lucky day it was! The annual fall coin show is in Edmonton today. I got up early, did some chore, picked up some juicy pretzels and low and behold......there was a silver quarter in my change. :hello2: My wifey and I went to the coin show....I did buy some silver coins to make some coin rings later this month, and also purchased my annual gold piece. This year I bought a 1 gram wafer of 999.9% gold. I have purchased at least one gold coin for the last 20 years with some of the clad I found. I have built up a nice collection. At the end of 2005, the price of gold per ounce closed at $515.60. It is over 2 x that today.

That's very cool John. That's one little wafer of gold. Didn't know they made them in bars that small. That would break in half I guess. Probably could almost eat it on a cracker with cheese it's so small.

You could eat it. Gold is good for arthritis. I have given Myocrisin, an injection given in a muscle to a couple of patients who suffered from severe rheumatoid arthritis.

Learn something new everyday. I've heard of silver consumption for immune support. Didn't know that about gold. Very interesting
