More than 525,000 pounds of canned beef products that were sold nationwide are being recalled because they may contain unsafe levels of lead, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
Crider Foods of Stillmore, Ga., issued the recall. The lead has been connected to a spice mix from an outside supplier, the USDA said. The following products were produced between Oct. 22, 2020, and March 15, 2021. They have the establishment number “EST. 31812."...MORE...
