I took advantage of a holiday off and great weather and drove off the Cape to a park on the South Shore, where I've have good success in the past. Seems all the recent rains brought out lots of previously-missed signals. Was going along with a bunch of wheat pennies and one Indian, then hit an area where I had 2 multi-coin penny spills (one had 2 in one hole, the other 4) and 2 Barber dimes, all within a 10 square foot section. The best thing was, all of these finds were right near some poorly replaced, recently-dug holes made by detectorists before me- I love that!

Most interesting find was this sterling pin, made into a cuff-link- I can't find an exact match anywhere. Please let me know if you have a positive ID.

Finds were 1897 & 1914 Barber dimes, 1873 and a no-date Indian, and a dozen wheats- no good dates.

Hope you all got out and made some good finds today. Enjoy the pics and HH all!

I should have never moved to Florida.

That pin is really cool Barbers are always a banner day in my book. Well done

Awesome finds! :icon_thumleft: That IHP is in great shape!

That’s one nice looking Indian. The very few I have found all been toasted. Congrats

its not made into a cuff link silly, that's a screw back and its actually put on backwards the little teeth go toward the cloth that's what grips it

Thanks Gunn- basically if it isn't a coin, I don't know much about it!

Really nice finds & in great shape!
Congrats!
A good number of old coins including silvers! Way to go!
And the weather was pretty good for ya too.

I bet your mystery detectorist is the guy that lives at the tot lot end.
He came out once when i was there, but didn't seem to want to talk. Just wanted to be seen.

Wouldn't surprise me if you came up with alot more great coins from there.
I hope you did a happy dance. [emoji3]
