Haven't had a day like this in a while. Decided to drive out to a beach which is pretty far from me. Walked down to tide line and couldn't believe the cut below me. About 5ft then flat as a pancake, just the way I like it. Decided to go west, zigzagging my normal routine looking for a line, nothing. Then I get into some coins and put the brakes on. In one area about 100 ft long I picked up 2 bracelets and 3 rings, all 14k. The bigger one weights 12 grams. In total 1.06 oz of 14k. Funny thing is my battery died on me and had to walk all the way back to the car. Greed overcame me and I went back and found the large ring. See what tomorrow has in store. Thanks for looking, Mike

Ny state park beaches require a permit in Nassau/Suffolk counties of Long Island. Jones beach, Robert Moses, Sunken Meadow, Heckschter, etc. Town beaches such as Long Beach, Gilgo, Tobay, etc do not. NYC requires a permit for detecting any public area where it is allowed, which one can apply for free online.

WOw! you nailed it. That's one heck of a day! Can't imagine you topping this one for a week or two. :)
5 pcs, probably not until winter. Or maybe tomorrow if the conditions get better and more sand is removed. Who knows:dontknow:

Great hunt - Congratulations! :occasion14:

Come on down Terry, and bring the sand shark. The bigger ring was pretty deep, almost missed it with the 3030. I'm sure there's plenty more there.

Dang... This post almost makes it seem easy to do!!

Hahaha... But I know it isn't, congrats on this day and good luck on the next!!

Really nice finds! Congrats. Maybe it's time to take a trip north from the Treasurecoast. LOL
