Found this one by accident digging a new flower bed for the wife. Definetly cool. I have it displayed on top of my computer desk/station whatever you call it, along with some other nice finds. Thanks again for the help, you guys and this site are GREAT! I'm guessing just quartz it's the size of a baseball. Looks like a stalagmite or one seen in a cave or cavern, very different than others around here. :hello2:

Looks like a beautiful quartz specimen to me! Just FYI, if it were stalagmite/tite, or other, built-up-over-time drips or seepage, it would look more like an agate, or cross-section of a tree, with rings.

Isn't it great what we can find, even in our own backyard?!!
