The coins were not in abundance today, just a 44 wheat and 59 nickel. The 3 marbles popped out when digging the coins. I have only found 1 other marble detecting. Sort of cool to see the colors in the dirt.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1490379317.590088.jpg

I surface find old sofa bottles all the time when swinging, but rarely stop to check them out. Sort of not my goal when detecting. But this one caught my eye because it was really unique and in perfect condition.

Copy reads "Crescent Bottling Co. Trademark Registered Pittsburgh Pa. Con 8 Fl. oz"

I have not been able to find any info on this bottle online. If anyone knows were to dig up info on old soda/beer bottles pls let me know.

Good luck this weekend!

That is one cool bottle. I'm from the Altoona area and never heard of Crescent Bottling Co. Congrats.

Crescent bottle co was founded in 1893 in Camden N.J. , owner was John Schimpf

I like that bottle. 2 days ago I found my first marble digging what turned out to be trash. I'll be out today so hopefully I find something cool.

I hope to see you in the woods, as long as you don't have your mask on... Good luck, awesome weather today.

Nice bottle find, but I always like the marbles. I find a lot of them (clay and glass) on the surface in the fields I hunt.

Marbles and bottles are still popular collectibles , those finds are worthy of saving .... well done !
