Really bad news for me

i am not worried i am sure i will save more
i just was mad when i posted the original news
no hand-outs neccesarry.
thanks for the gestures though

i believe the deductible for the insurance claim wouldn't be worth the trouble
there is such a thing called karma, and the bastard who took my detector will get what
is coming to them,

Sorry to hear that...I just got a new Ace 250 also. When I go on a vacation to treasure hunt, don't ever leave a detector sitting in the car unattended. I know you're not supposed to leave them in a hot trunk, because it can ruin a coil. But, I'll unroll a sleeping bag, fold it double over the detectors which are on top of boxes to insulate them as much as possible.

You just can't park somewhere leaving a detector in a car, especially a beach....they'll even break the windows out.

I really like the Ace 250, someday the ice will melt and then be able to hunt with it. I'm just getting back to hunting locally again. For several years only used a detector on vacations, then it stayed on the shelf a while. Time to begin hitting the local parks again...until can go to the desert nugget hunting.

Rob,
Make certain that you provide a full description to the local PD. Their database technology is becoming more sophisticated and occasionally, especially with a big bust, these items come back around to their original owners. We can only hope that the new owner/ thief might "discover" a shallow power line with a steel-handled shovel. Until then, save your change and keep your chin up. There is a purpose in all things.
Good luck,
docmann
