Real slow weekend only found 3 pieces of jewelry for $1

Went to some garage sales last Saturday. It was real slow and I only found 3 pieces of jewelry for $1. A little broach that was sterling (about 4gr) a scrimshaw pendent and a PLATINUM wedding band! It weighs in at 2.5gr and at a last weeks rate worth about $85 (not bad for .33¢)

I found them all in a junk jewelry box and the owner was happy to get $1

It just said PLATINUM I always carry a small but strong magnifying glass. When people mention that i come prepared I say "no just bad eyes"

I was really surprised when I checked it, I thought it might be fake. It looked like dull unpolished silver or even nickle.
