I picked this brooch up for .25 cents at a garage sale and didn't realize until I got home that it appears to be hand painted. Is this vintage, antique, or does anyone know the maker, approx. year made?

Approximate size is: 1 1/2" long by 1" across.

Thank you all for your help :)

On your closeup, you can see the regular pattern of "dots" making up the picture. Similar to any printed picture on a newspaper when you look at it up close. So it's printed, not hand painted.

I wish I could see the full picture. Is it a brooch? Maybe someone will be kind enough to help you resize.

From what little I can see reminds me of a hand painted Nellie Rosenbaum costume jewelry brooch that I am selling but I have no idea if she made full figures which I think you have posted..

I resized one for you. I would suggest to do the same with the others. Welcome to TN.

On the back image it looks like a stamp on the right hand loop, or it might just be a reflection.
