Was at an auction tonight and got these for next to nothing. Looked up prices on eBay while I was there and was like holy crap those are worth a lot. I don't do much with sports cards and am not familiar with grading. So if anybody knows how the grading process works on cards please share your opinion of the grade. 1 point on the grading scale can mean the difference between a $6000 card and a $1300 card. I'm not going to take them out of the protective holder for any better picture. Any discoloring is with the sleeve itself. The cards look amazing. I'm thinking about getting them slabbed, but that will be a few weeks. Thanks for any help you can give.

Wow, I never knew those Three Stooges cards were valuable! Amazing prices on eBay.

My opinion on those cards is that they will probably grade a 6 (ex-mt), due to the slight corner dings.

Those are cool! Did you get the whole series or just those three? Looks like they made 96 cards total!

No I only got the first 3, which are the key ones. They didn't have any others.

Your best bet is to send them to someone like PSA for a formal, professional grading. They have a pretty solid rep.

The closest PSA dealer is 70 miles away. I emailed them and hopefully receive a response this week.

I have a Curly from that series. Yours look nicely centered, a little lightly toned may detract some but the corners are pretty crisp from what I can tell with no stains front or back. The #1,2,& 3 cards together add quite a bit to the value and are the premier cards of that set. Ex to near mint.

Maybe $450 for those three. Half that to a dealer. The #1 Curly card in near mint can fetch $600 by itself.

Finally sent them off and got them back graded. Time to get them listed on eBay. Not too bad for a $46 total investment (cost more to get graded than I paid for the cards originally).

Just remember, because they may be worth a bunch of money, on ebay you will only get what one is willing to pay. Any comparable sales?

Those cards are great! Was there not another stooge named "Joe"? It's been a long time since saw them shows. Sure beats the crap we have on TV now.
