Don't get your hopes up. It would be graded "Environmental Damage", and the value would fall steeply from your stated values. Honestly, if someone offered you a buck for it you might want to take the buck. Realistically 40 years ago I purchased an 1894 Indian Head for about 40 bucks - looked pristine to me, a dazzler. I was so proud of it I took it to a coin show - every dealer said it had been cleaned and they wanted nothing to do with it.

And a dirt dug coin is going to grade at an embarrassing scale.

Also, you'll learn one heck of a lot from Treasurenet - just keep coming - and of course going out digging. That's a 1945 Wheat you didn't have before......

It is inevitable that you'll be digging silver coins and jewelry if you stick with the hobby.
