Ram/Bull Button?

Found this today. Button-like w/concave back and convex obverse--but there is a nub in the back where a loop would be; heavy white metal (not lead); size is between quarter and half dollar. Depicts some kind of animal with horns and ears Ram? Bull? Cow? Field around the animal is textured like canvas. May have been white-plated at one time. Any ideas? Thanks, Dan

Looks like a big horn sheep "ram" to me. No info for ya, buttons aren't my area of expertise! Really nice find though!

Actually I couldnt figure it out...until i left picture up when I went for a cup of coffee...as soon as I came back in and looked at it from the doorway.....I see an ox with a yoke around its neck.....
