Here's what I came up with today. I overpaid on the coasters and serving knife since the handle is the only silver and the coasters have so little I paid a bit over melt at $20. $20 for the PSP isn't a slam dunk but hopefully I can make $10 on it.

Had a fun time at my first ever auction, sure it was a goodwill auction but nonetheless. Got this pre-1921 Whiting and Davis mesh purse/bag thing. I know it's pre-1921 because that was the year they changed their mark as they copyrighted(is that the right term) "Whiting and Davis Mesh Bags". The mark on it says Whiting and Davis Co and then has a mark that looks either like a 6 a 9 or a dot in a rectangle. and also a mark that says "d mesh" which is an incomplete stamping of the mark "soldered mesh". The "Whiting & Davis Co." mark was poorly stamped and you can barely read the Whiting portion which got me excited at first when I thought the incomplete stamp was "Sterling" at first( didn't see the ampersand). In any case I got it for $17 as the only bid after the silent bids had brought it to $16. Not silver but cool as heck in any case.

I recently bought a PSP for $20. Mine is missing the battery and charger which was a huge mistake. Best of luck.

Sounds like you at least had a fun day - you got to love those auctions giniro. Thanks for sharing...

Kind of a big weekend for PSPs for me apparently, heres what I picked up today.
Slim PSP bundle 8 games 1 movie $35

Same sale as the PSP got an SNES with Supergameboy and sports games for $10. Funny I went to the sale for the PSP they didn't advertise the SNES.

Sale that got rained out yesterday that advertised a DS with games, Talked them down to $15 due to the dead pixels on the screen but even the games are worth $20 so I did alright.

Came home early cause I was getting a lot of emails about an Xbox 360 I put up for sale on Craigslist and I thought I was going to sell it, still waiting to hear back from people.

Those wine coasters if sterling and not dented, can bring $35 per set of 4.
Good buy. I have never even touched an electronic game in 20 years,
don't know what to look for. Someday maybe.

I go through stages it seems when I buy things. I used to buy video games and units all the time when I could get them for really cheap. One day i'll hook them all up and see if they work correctly and maybe try to sell them. The purse should do alright even if it isn't sterling.
