Rained out at work so hit an old neighbor's yard

This is one of those yards where I dig all the odd signals because there is so much stuff buried there years ago. Dug up everything from old oillamp parts to a silver plated spoon and an old toy pistol. Got a few bucks in clad, one silver quarter wedged in the roots of an old maple, seven wheats and a few tokens. Left the "relics" on her porch, took a picture of the decent finds below. I posted on the tokens forum about the token I found. If anyone can help me out with it I'd appreciate if you took a look at it. All in all it was a fun time on a very dreary wet day.

Going to hit her brother's house next. I do know there is a gold/diamond wedding ring in the front yard somewhere. His sister threw it at her ex 30 years ago and it's never been looked for since. Worth a shot I guess.

Here's pictures of the token http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,325286.0.html

Nice finds!
It looks like that rain out paid off for you. Good luck with that ring.

left the relics on her porch??

good finds......
if your gonna dig that gold ring, be prepared to dig every foil and pulltab signal you come across

Oh am quite well aware of that. I like impressing people with telling them what the item is before I dig it with the 705. They always ask about rings and I tell them unfortunately the rings and the pull tabs all sound the same. Someday someone may solve that mystery. (cure the common cold at the same time)
The "relics" are in safe hands. I remember in the 70's was playing with my dad's fancy new high-tech white's coinmaster?? in the same yard and we dug up a cannonball. Unfortunately her brother took it and now no one will ever see it again.

what I meant is why did you leave the relics there? why not bring home, clean them up, take pictures etc?
