Rainbow quartz? Rubellite Tourmaline?

I’m afraid I don’t know the location for this one. Striations on the side remind me of tourmaline. Lots of rainbow reflections that seem to run deep. Pink/purple in color...

I never saw anything like it in 23 years in Oregon. I mean the rainbow speckles. I am sure you can find specialists easily around to take this to.

To bad gram pa didn't make labels for his collection..but then again learning about these rocks and minerals may be where the real value lies.

I agree, fuss. I’m a little sheepish about posting all his great stuff without a lot of background info (as you can see that hasn’t stopped me haha). I’m grateful for even broad info. Until someone tells me to cool it, I’ll keep posting! Sure do appreciate sure this forum.
