Help! Once again I'm sitting here looking out my window at a thunderstorm passing north of Springfiled, TN. It's been a long time since late June and I'd sure like to know what those glistening little things are that are falling from those clouds. Anybody know a good rain dance?

This gets frustrating watching the vegetation dry up, the dirt crack and get hard as concrete; and you know what that means? NO MDing! The ground is extremely hard and with temps of 100+ it isn't a good environment to hunt, much less do anything else.

We actually had a cold front come through...it's only 93 today!

Sorry for the pouting....maybe I should have posted in "Personal Rants" ::)

I definitely understand... I just drove from Florida to Alabama on Friday and hit a bunch of storms... then drove from Alabama (through TN) to Missouri yesterday and hit storms almost the whole way. It's stormed twice today here in Springfield, Missouri... and I've got alot of stuff in my storage unit that I've got to get back into my apartment... IF it'll stop raining. I'm going to church tonight instead... :)

Try washing the car or watering the lawn. Always sparks a thunderstorm around here.

Left the window down on the truck last night. Only got enough to soften the 1st inch of soil. Below that it's baked Okla. clay.

I guess this means MD-ing in my country should be pretty easy!
It never stops blumming raining over here! :P :-\

same here in NC, of course the beaches are easy to dig, but the soil is parched and you need a jackhammer to get through some of it

We were like you from June til August 14th(about). Never had to cut the grass. ;D ;D No lawnmower noise sitting out on the patio. ;D ;D Now it has all changed..... 3 inches in one day. Two to three more inches for next couple.

Global warming says more extremes.

Jim...thanks for the video....I'll get a long cord and a TV and move it from tree to tree so they'll get plenty of nourishment ;D

Tried washing the car and watering the lawn...guess I could leave all the windows down on the turck and pull the Vette out and take the T-tops off!

Maybe that'll work :o
