All, I picked up a bunch of antique railroad lanterns today, and this thing was with the bunch. I don't believe it fits any of them, and if it does I have no idea how. I suppose it is a light diffuser of sorts, but for what type of lantern? The "eyeball" is glass. How does it attach? ???


Edit - figured it out, finally found a photo on the web of how it installs.
