Hey everyone, another item that my brother dug in Colorado. It reads: Wright-Swan & Company...Municipal Railroad Bonds Corporation...First National Bank Building Denver. My question is, what would it have been attached to? Looks kind of small to be affixed to a building:icon_scratch: Also, I contacted a railroad collector about it and they said they didn't know about it, but said it was probably worth between $20 to $40. Does this appraisal sound right? The reason I'm asking about the value is because I do want to sell it. My brother owed me some $$, so he sent me some relics to cushion the cash owed. I do want to sell it, but I am also truly curious about what it's purpose was. Thanks for any help you can provide, Chris

I think if we can figure out what it is, it will help establish some value. I think you may have a representation of the company that printed railroad bonds. I say that because of the bank name on it. That may represent a transfer agent or something similar. And of course, I may be 100% off base.

Definitely one of those Mud hut, as least from what I can see. My computer won't let me enlarge the photos:icon_scratch: I can read most of it, just can't see the back side of it. But I do see they listed it as a 1920's paperweight:thumbsup:Can you tell me what it sold, or is selling for? Thanks for the picture, Chris

If you do decide to sell, please let me know, Id be interested in buying it. My last name is Wright and my dad retired from the railroad after 40 years of service. I think it would be a cool relic to get him. Thanks.
