Race coming to Bristol, TN

Hi fellow MDers!!! I am new to this wonderful hobby and I was wanting to ask a question. I live in Bristol, TN near the Famous Half Mile Race Track which the race is this weekend. I was wondering if you think hunting the campgrounds were all the race fans camp and park at would be a great place to find nice items. I figured with thousands of race fans with most of them drunk they are sure to lose a lot of stuff! What do you all think? If you have any tips please let me know. Thanks!!!!

Good luck with that. I live just north of Bristol. I personally do not go anywhere near Bristol during race week. Maybe after a few weeks when things calm down the RV parks/camp grounds/parking lots would be a great place to hunt, but until the traffic clears, I will just stick around the house.

hmmmmmmmm What would i rather find? A piston from Jeff Gordons blown engine, or a gold coin; hmmmmm piston? coin? To close to call.... lol I would try to find an old map of the track and where that parking lot was; also any wooden or open grandstands might have been..... Regardless, you should do well.....good luck
