RA & LA civil war button found with detector

I have a relative who recently found a RA & a LA button from the civil war. the LA button has a 2 under the letters LA circled in stars. The RA & LA butons are both written in cursive.? does anyone have any info on these buttons.

SWEET buttons yee haw.Them are some War of 1812 buttons,man thats cool.Anyhow the RA are Regiment of Artillerists 1811-1813 and they both are have "foliated" letters.The LA buttons are Light Artillery 1808-1821.Again those are some sweet buttons.
