R.I. Civil War Button found in CT!

It's hard to believe that while I was digging a old dump this Button popped out of the side wall. I saw it had a design on it so I brought it home (not knowing what it was. I was amazed when I saw the anchor and hope banner, backmark, and still intact shank! The backmark says D. Evans & Co Attleboro, Mass. Reasearch says R.I. Staff officer button. Also Just joined and this is my first post on here.

Thanks for the welcome's and yes I do metal detect. I mostly find Wheaties and other cool objects but sometimes a silver coin or ring pops in with the mix. Here is another Civil War related relic its a Grand Army of the Republic Veteran's pin:
