Obviously a spur, it reads R.I.A. 1904 and is not magnetized. Wondering if anyone could tell if it is authentic or military? or possibly tell me if it has any value? I appreciate any feedback. Cody Trump

Very similar spur to the pair I have, of my Dad's Dad. Almost Guaranteed pre-WWI.

Our Kiwi Mounted Soldiers replaced the spiked rowels with sixpenny pieces.
There is a 1906 Edward VII sixpence as one replacement rowel on one of my Grandfather's spurs.
I can't make out the other.
