Just arrived in sunny Florida. Been coming down to western Florida for 8ish yrs and can’t remember a slower time for metal detecting. Been out 3 times for a total of 10 hrs, 7 in water and 3 in sand, and not worth showing a pic of lack of finds. Nothing of value and most interesting find was a dead Samsung phone with bulging belly. Poor hunting mostly due to poor weather, sanded-in beaches, and quiet surf. Not to mention the lack of donors...errr...tourists this time of yr. Did I mention the red-tide?
But sure beats the gray and cold weather back up north! Just adore hitting the clear waters, when you can go in. Anyways, as in years past finds will start to pick-up with some good winter storms and later as donating tourists return to the warmer water. Happy Hunting

Im jealous - Doctor still wont let go out
and Ive caught 2 dead mice in last month :tongue3:

There's an awful lot of sand down here. Once in a while you can find a hole with targets. I've hunted less this year than ever mainly because it's been too rough for me most of the time and I do go out when it's pretty rough.
