I ran by a ball park that was built in the 1950's yesterday just before sunset. Found a few clad pennies and a Canadian nickel. Don't get many Canoks down this way! First one I've seen in ages mostly we see Canadian pennies. It was dated 1972 and still had a lot of shiney on the surface. I know it's not silver but it doesn't darken and deteriorate like our coins. It was at 6" so it's been there for awhile. Thought I had me some silver at first but alas...................

Just a bit of trivia knowledge to throw out there. Canadian coinage with the exception of the one cent piece are all magnetic. Many world coins are. If you are every in doubt if that dirty old coin is U.S. or other check it with a magnet. :D
