Prospecting
Let me get it started. Had some concentrates with a whole lotta slivers of lead in it. Found a safe, easy way to get rid of the lead.

Add equal parts of 3% hydrogen peroxide (like you put on a cut) and 5% vinegar (white vinegar that you buy from the store). Let it sit for a while and you will see little plumes of grey 'smoke' rising in the pan wherever there is lead (it's not really smoke). Pretty soon the lead is all gone.

Someone else want to offer up a good solid tip?

After packing yourself and equipment into remote locations, if you find nice gold, "Mad Dog" it. Beat yourself to death moving material - you never know
when, or if, you'll ever get back there again!

That's how I mine anyway. If I know there is gold there, I move as much as I am physically capable of. "Get as much as you can, while you can."
