I stopped in a bank on the way to work today to put some money in my account, wasn't even roll hunting. The teller I got is very nice, she knows I coin hunt so she's always askin me about how I'm doing. Well today she asked if I'd be interested in her loose halves. I could see some nice shiny silver rims in the mix so I bought them. $7.50 in loose halves got me 6- 40%ers. I'll take that all day.

These type of stories are exactly what make me debate over how you should treat tellers. Alot of people swear their evil, and while some may be, the majority arent.

I always treat them nicely. Even the tellers that get an attitude I try to be as polite as I can. You never know if it will pay off

Yeah, I'm just taking what I can get. I don't have a lot of money to put into roll hunting right now, so every bit is nice. I had a lot of expenses come up the last couple of months, so it's hard to hit big scores with the volume I'm working with.

Always treat them nice. Most tellers don't care about searching coin and helping them get rid of their loose half dollars and dollar coins is something they appreciate (at least I do). It's damn annoying counting out those coins when you're counting out your drawer for the night. It's just more work for us.
