Being in a heat wave I thought I'd take advantage of the relative cool of the AM at a Victorian home-site very near my job. I knew I found something interesting and possibly silver, but being pressed for time, I didn't really look at what it was till I got home from work. It is an early 1900's "Hickok"
sterling silver belt buckle with a "B" monogram.(I knew the home-owners name started with a B because I already found the brass name-plate
that would have been on the front door) It's a really nice piece in a "Great Gatsby" kind of way, and they appear to be somewhat collectable from a look at what's on Ebay
I will certainly go back to this site, cause I am sure there's more good stuff to find. HH to you all

Very nice! I think there was another Hickok silver buckle posted a few weeks ago here. :icon_thumleft:

That's very nice! I actually posted a picture of a Hickok belt buckle a few weeks ago that was in a box of relics someone sent my husband but mine wasn't silver nor nearly as decorative.

Great looking silver buckle.
