I’ve been working every weekend in January, so had the itch last night to hit an old spot in the park woods when the rain stopped last night (and melted all the snow). 6-8 pm, not many holes just off the trail, but surprising luck for a short hunt. FYI, 2nd Barber dime found in this park with the circle carved on her face? Not sure why. Thx

Nice hunt Thad. It's too bad you are forced to thrash around in the woods in the dark just to get a hunt in, but with those results, maybe you should stick to night hunting :laughing7:

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

nice finds that Indian head looks to be an odd color all mine come out green and dark brown. did it come out the ground that color?
The IHP was a bit crusty, found in a wet spot. I coat my IHPs with olive oil to keep from drying out and turning light green.

Outstanding finds! I've seen silvers, dimes specifically, with that circular engraving on either side- my research pointed to metal, cylindrical coin banks.
