Detector(s) used
Teknetics T2 SE, Garrett GTA 550, &
Garrett Pro-Pointer
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
I had a chance to get out today and try my new T2 SE. I only had an hour,
so I went to a local park that dates back to the late 1800's. I found alot of pull tabs & a few newer coins,
but did manage to find what looks to be a decorative buckle.

Not sure though. Any thoughts?

The T2 is much different than my previous detector; Garrett GTA550. The T2 is so much more sensitive!!
Can't wait to get out again.

Nice looking buckle and good hunting with the new Machine.

God job, pultab... nice

Can't expect too much more from a park! lol Good hunt.

Nice finds Joe. You will like that T2 SE. I have one used ONLY ONE HOUR for sale in the TNet classifieds. HH, Quindy.

Thanks for the replies!!

Joe

Very very cool! Did you sell your old one or keep it as a back up?

Is it possible that the buckle is actually a brooch? I can't see the back but a stone or cameo or the like might have fit inside the circle, which I see is decorated. Nice finds.

Thanks Bev!! I'm keeping it as a back-up.

Hi Chuck,
Maybe you are right. The narrow middle tab is connected and does not separate from the main piece like a buckle would.
Thanks for pointing that out.
