Quick hunt behind my house.

Running through my property there is 7 small water ways. None have any running water running except after rains. With all the rain we have had in southwest Missouri they have been pretty good.

You think the leftmost in pic1 is a Dickson (Adena culture)? Kinda rough though.

Tdog I would say your right Adena Dickson. Which I have a hard time telling the difference between an Adena and Standlee.

There is one water way in a steep sided holler that all the scrapers come from. It’s steep enough you have to pull your self out holding on to trees. Over the years I have probably found 50 scrapers there. I wonder why so many in that spot?

The high ground was probably a good camp area!

It’s interesting that you use the word waterway and a steep slope. That’s a logistically perfect location to burn and scrap out a Dugout and slide it into the water.

Well I should not use water way to describe them. These only run when there has been heavy rain.
