Saw a couple of spots on a map that looked interesting and went to try and find them . We're supposed to get a storm Saturday and I'm hoping this isn't the end yet. As I get to the area where I park,I see there are 2 trucks with gun racks there. Not today. I went to a backup spot near there instead. Didn't find a lot but I did get a nice, decorated suspender buckle out of it,along with a small spoon and some type of cutting wedge. I've never seen a buckle this ornate and it doesn't seem to have a patent date on it. I'm thinking mid 1800s just based on the style, the only thing I know is the family was well to do for the town.On my way home,I spotted at a spot I've been at least 50 times. It's off a old road that was used until the late 70s so there is all sorts of trash in the ground. Only found stuff the first 4 times. The house was not very old , probably the 30s. Been gone since the early 60s. I took it slow and managed a couple of things. A 1938 wheat penny and a lot little toy gun. It had a flip up top so that was weird.View attachment 1884180View attachment 1884181View attachment 1884186View attachment 1884191View attachment 1884190View attachment 1884192
