Quick fix and an IH!

The gf called me from work and told me she wanted some meat cooked in the slow cooker with some vegetables. I did as she said and then had the "Urge" to go detecting. I figured I can't burn dinner in the slow cooker, right.

Well I went out to the woods across the street from where I live and have found 3 other IH's, V-Nickel, and Barber Quarter. I just have a feeling there is another Barber hiding there somewhere.

I didn't find any Barbers, but I did manage to pull out this 1906 IH, making it my 12th for the year. It's a little pitted, but I'll take it.

Going to Lodi, WI for the long weekend (Crystal Lake RV Resort) We're staying right on the beach. I'm taking both Minelabs with me. The gf said she'll comb the beach with the E-trac, and I'll hit the water with the Excal. I told her that she has to dig EVERY signal though if she doesn't want to tick me off.

I just hope I'll be sober enough to get some detectin' in.

Jon and his E-trac can certainly pick out those IH! Next time you get that IH unique signal, and if I am with you, call me over. I'd like to see what they sound like as I haven't found one yet.

You know if you let her detect while your camping she's gonna get hooked. There goes your ME time.

Nice IH! How are the woods by you? I couldn't believe how overgrown the woods had gotten in a week's time (over by Barber Hill). I was there with Mike (Waz) and Mark this past weekend and I barely recognized the area. I might hit the woods when I come back to town, but with this heat I'm seriously considering the beach. Or a big old park. We'll see.

They were pretty bad, some spots were bear, so that's where I hit. I think I'm going to be doing strictly parks and beaches myself as well. See ya out there!
