All Treasure Hunting
Started about two months ago with a Tesoro Compadre.Found lots of iron until I learned how to discriminate. All local park hunting:San Francisco.Got frustrated with all the trash and no gold coins so I bought a used J.W.Fisher 8 x pulse for $500.Only used once in twelve years.Lo and behold I found lots and lots of iron REALLY DEEP.Also found a musket round in a front yard in Berkeley.I went back to the Compadre and now I'm finding more interesting stuff like apt. Keys from 1950.Bought a Lobo,it's coming next week.Any suggestions?or are you guys laughing at me?yours Qd.

Welcome to TN !
Digging a lot of garbage is part and parcel of this hobby. LOL I often think of myself as the pull tap king. I'm beginning my second season and if it weren't for being at the beach while detecting I would probably give this hobby up. Yet every time I dig a target there is that anticipation of what is it that keeps me at it.

Wel-come to the funhouse ... :laughing7:

Quick Draw!

You're the treasure hunting Spirit, in flesh and bone!! :skullflag:

Keep swinging those Tesoro machines, they'll do you well...!

Main thing, is to LEARN what each machine can do for you, AND what it can't...!

Dig everything, learn from (each) target!!!
