Awsome 20 min! HH

Merc was '42. Yeah wife was rushing me LOL.

Ah, fantastic that was my first (and only) merc, a 1942 it's a great feeling. It's my avatar or whatever the image is called!

Alright now the bad news. I was about 20 miles north of my house and went detecting with a friend. I was there for an hour. I found nothing but a little clad, he found a merc. I had to get home and left in a hurry. I thought to myself "self you need to go back and run that small 5.3 over the rest of your aunts yard". So I made a short 20 minute stop, jumped out made some quick finds and the phone rang. It was her "the boss" she said stop and pick me up something so I packed up and left quick. As I was almost home I looked in the back seat and guess what I was missing, no I had my V3i. My hard case, charger, spare battery, and worst of all my 10" dd coil. Called a friend to check up north, he said it was gone. It may be beside my aunt's house. She is gonna check in a few minutes when she gets there. If I have to replace it, it will suck. I am gonna call whites and try to get some type of deal on some new accessories. Aside from that I had a great short hunt. LOL

Went back again to my aunts yesterday after work. I was able to hit a few more items. Everything seemed to be at 5-7 inches (just like the times before). 42 merc, stack of wheaties, and a tax token. Lead sure sounds off well with my machine.LOL

Great couple of hunts but did you find your other stuff???

No but I called whites and they made getting set back up a little less painful.

WOW I would have been chewing nails and pooping penny's but still thumbs up to whites.

Nice tax token finds. I used to enjoy digging those in yards, but it seems like they were always eat up pretty good. Still a nice little piece of history.

Yeah this is the nicest one I have found and it is rather geeked up. The ground here is rough on them.
