Happy Friday All-

Cooler temps have made detecting in the Greater Boston area more pleasant of late, but it hasn't made much of a dent in the mosquito population. After dousing myself with bug spray, I headed into the woods on Thursday for a brief but productive hunt. Highlights of the day included: 1854 braided hair LC, a 1916 wheatie, and a shankless tombac.

I believe I'm getting a little more depth with the Deus 2. This is the 3rd or 4th LC I have found with this machine. All have been in areas that I have covered previously with my old Deus 1 or Garrett AT Pro. Hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend.

That is a beauty … Congrats! Mosquitoes especially tough this year; maybe because of all the rain and humidity. Nasty buggers!

Good work there SilverMonkey. I am also finding a lot of goodies with my D2 that my D1 had missed. Not necessarily geeting more depth (though I have dug some DEEP coppers) but I think the multifrquency options and the audio improvements are the biggest contributers to more finds.
