A friend of mine has several rolls of unopened uncirculated band new 1964 half dollars. What do you think they would be worth?

Check on Ebay and see if anyone has them listed for sale.

If you have a local dealer that you know kinda well, you can call them and ask what the bid price is on them. Dealers get a weekly "Bid" sheet that shows what the going rate is for lots of different rolls of coins.

Littleton Coins www.littletoncoin.com has the 1964 "P" uncirculated listed for sale at $19.50 each, but that is an inflated price in my opinion.

I think Littleton also appraises or buys coins, so you might ask them, but I bet they don't pay what they are really worth.
