I found this '63 dime and was noticing the strangeness going on around the mint mark.

Thought I'd ask the experts for their opinions.

You may be looking at an error called a RPM (repunched mint mark).

Any all opinions welcomed! I know it could be a ding, but, here in person, it definitely looks like something over something else.
A re-punched mint mark would fit too.
