Hello all,
Out at the park the other day found an ear ring with what I think is cubic zircon diamonds.
The ear ring is very large with 9 stones. Sorry I can not get a good picture of the ear ring!

My question is the mark on the back is 628.........
I have never seen that one before, anyone know what 628 mark is?
Thank you for your help in advance!

its .628 x 24 k (pure "gold)= (about) 15 k or basically at least a 14 k item if gold --- if silver its 628 out of 1000 or 62.8 % pure--- 925 is sterling silver by the way-- (gold can be white too like silver by the way)
--- 750 is 18K in europe and other places numbers per 1000 are use to show how pure metals are --- so 750 per 1000 is equal to 3/4 gold -- or 18k out of 24K (3/4ths of 24 is 18)

hope this helps

Thank you all for your help.
I think I will take it to a jeweler to see what I have.
I hope it is white gold then the diamonds would be real.
Thanks again
Oh sorry I just can not seem to get a good picture of the ear ring!
I will keep trying
