Question ❓ is this a meteorite it's heavy and is slightly magnetic

If it were a meteorite, with that appearance it would be strongly magnetic, not 'slightly magnetic'. Try a streak test on the unglazed side of a ceramic tile. That might give us more clues to what it is.

Could be some type of slang or volcanic something depending on where you found it. Meteorites if you are talking a iron/nickel would be very magnetic.

The second picture in post #6 looks like hematite. If so, it will streak brownish-red though to blood-red. Hematite itself is not magnetic, but often has small amounts of magnetite as a secondary mineral and may therefore show weak attraction to a magnet.

Is it coal?
