Question about Native American classification

I don’t know the true answer but personally I’d say no, the stone/bronze/Iron Age are European classifications… North American generally goes paleo Indian, archaic, woodland, Mississippian, Porto historic historic, but if you want to just look at the literal main material used for tools I could understand the argument

Stone age as far as tools, yes.
I consider Stone Age the larger classification that includes divisions such as archaic, woodland, etc.
 

You should never be afraid to ask questions on this forum. Nothing wrong with looking for more information. This is a great place to get some clarification. Looks like you got some good answers.
