Question about Native American classification

No offense intended, please don't rip me a new one. But, Are Native Americans ( pre- euro invasion) considered to be stone age peoples?

I don’t know the true answer but personally I’d say no, the stone/bronze/Iron Age are European classifications… North American generally goes paleo Indian, archaic, woodland, Mississippian, Porto historic historic, but if you want to just look at the literal main material used for tools I could understand the argument

Generally speaking they were in the Stone Age. There were exceptions like the Old Copper Culture around the Great Lakes.

Stone age as far as tools, yes.
I consider Stone Age the larger classification that includes divisions such as archaic, woodland, etc.
