Question about my Metal detector? Micronta Discovery2

I'm using a Micronta Discovery2 with a 10 1/4 inch coil, I don't have a manual for it. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with this machine and what the best batteries to use, It eat's batteries up wondering if anyone has any suggestions about using rechargable's or Just a couple of Duracell's, It take's two of them and seem's like one might be for sound, I had to get a adapter to use the headphones. Anybody know or own one of these, and should i just set it aside and get a new one?

I really don't know anything about your particular unit. However, I did find an owner's manual online for you. The good news is, it's free. The bad news is, it's in Spanish.

It looks a lot like the BH Tracker II .. Have a look on the BH site, and see if it has the same type of controls..

Yep, That sure look's identical to mine..... I'll try to see what that manual say's, My spanish is not the best, but, i'll see what i can figure out, Thank's to both of you for your help.
