question about Dimes..

As i can read it on Coinfacts.com .. it looks like Dimes from 1946 to 1964 are 90% silver Planchets..

on the Coinfacts it says "90% SILVER PLANCHETS (1946-1964)"

Is this true .. Please help me here

Yep, all Roosevelt dimes through 1964 are made of 90% silver and 10% copper.

Dimes, Quarters, Halves and Dollar coins made 1964 and older are 90% silver. If you are going to be involved in coins it might be a good idea to get a coin book, like redbook, or get online and do some research. It is not always a good idea to just ask people, you may get a wrong answer. I have seen people sell very valuable coins for next to nothing because they didn't do the research themselves.

I am not that good at writing what I mean.... I met that in a nice way. I just hate to have people get the wrong information, which I have seen in the past, on here and other places. I am sure if you read a lot of the posts online, you will see there is a lot of different opinions. Where it is always good to ask different people for information, I am just suggesting you verify the information before you, in this case, buy or sell any coins.
