Has anyone used any of the products below for cleaning silver, bronze, copper, brass coins/artifacts? What kind of results have you gotten?

NEVR DULL
BRASSO
TARNX
NOXON
Hagerty's silver cream

A coin shop in my area sells a copper cleaning mix for jewelry/coins. Would this be recommended for old pennies?

Thanks,
Moe :)

It depends on your reason for Cleaning them Moe.

If You Like your old coins to be clean for Display reasons
it will probably do a decent job.

If you want to clean old worn ones for I.D.
Probably not. it may clean the Dirt & Tarnish out of
all Details leaving what will look like a Slug.

If you want to clean before Selling, you will have a harder time selling
them to Knowledgable buyers, but easier time to those
who like nice Shiny Coins.
But Dealers will never touch them unless they are the rarest of the rare,
and then only for 10% of value.

I've used Brasso and Tarnex on silver coins.
Tarnex removed tarnish but left silver looking dull, something like aluminum.
Brasso on the other hand left silver, brass, ss looking shiny and polished.
So Tarnex is for tarnish removal and Brasso is more of a polish.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend either for your potentially valuable coins, but I would for everything else.
