Some weeks ago, at work...while going through some rolls (from Brinks), I noticed a silver looking edge. I pulled that coin from the roll and it was a 2001 P North Carolina Quarter.
I also found a 1964 Quarter that same day. Now, of course, the 1964 has a nice ring when dropped on the table, but the 2001 P NC Quarter sounds like a cross between silver and clad...but it's all silver in color...no copper on the edges. I tested this several times with clad Quarters, Bi-centinnel Quarters and the 1964.....
Has anyone else found one like this? I don't think it's a proof, I found one of those already and it doesn't look like that. There's great detail, looks almost brand new. I just never saw one like this before.
Thanks to anyone who can assist me with this one...I am stumped!!

PS: I don't think posting a pic will help, but if need be, let me know and I'll take a pic....
