Got out for an hour today...the broken point would have been a stunner for this area. Not sure if the hard stone pieces are artifacts. They both appear to have been worked. The round is almost a perfect sphere and the triangular piece does not appear natural...

Clean the first and second pic items the last one is natural. The round one looks interesting so give it a bath and lets see a new pic.

Where do ya hail from Romeo? That quartz is surely a heart breaker.

I'm in Nova Scotia. That's the 4th broke quartz notched stem point that I've found on this site that is broken in the same manner...heavily farmed siite.

I'll clean them and post some more pics later today.

Those shapes are sure interesting. Were they all found together?Surface finds?

the ball may be a mill ball...medium for crushing rock...any mines and mills in the area?

Nope...not a mill or mine for several hundred miles...and it is rock. I would imagine that a mill ball would be iron...

Actually the ball is slightly magnetic...I just put a rare earth magnet on a thin spot in the outer crust and there is a slight attraction...hmmmm

probably a iron ore concentration which looks like a type of sandstone mixture they do come in round shapes. Crack it open might be some crystals inside.
