Quartz, yes. clear quartz? Quartz crystal? about 5 inches at the widest point.

Yes! That is extremely rare comeleon quartz! It blends in with it's background and is very hard to capture a photo of it! I believe that's what you have here!:laughing7:

Quartz crystal cluster of mixed clear and milky quartz crystals. The cluster formed on another host rock, limestone possibly, that has long since eroded away. Packed crystals like that are a nice find and a good indicator for the possibility of loose crystals and other clusters in the area.
